Day Fifty-three: Camping at Cape Disappointment. We hiked, we ate, we hiked some more. We pitched out “tent” and roasted marshmallows and had an amazing time.

Ah, the north coast of Oregon has some interesting place names. We have Louis and Clark to thank for Cape Disappointment’s moniker… because I’m pretty sure the original inhabitants of the area didn’t call it that! 😀 ~W
What fun! We almost made a trip to Cape Disappointment but we ended up deciding to head for home more quickly. Glad you enjoyed it!
