And the monkey’s name is…. CLARICE. Yep… that’s right, I’m taking whirrly Deb’s suggestion. Here is why.
When I woke up the other day and logged on to read the comments left while I was sleeping, I saw Deb’s suggestion. Initially, I dismissed it as not quite “diva” enough for any thing belonging to me. But then I took a good hard look at the pink primate and was struck by what I saw. Sitting before me was my monkey and a candle called “CLARITY” — side by side obviously paired by my sub-conscience. Now, CLARITY is just the kind of name you would expect from the spiritual director type– especially considering the quotation on the candle:

However, despite my desire to act against type you can’t knock fate. So… it’s Princess Clarice, Diva Queen of the Pink Primates. Sounds good to me.
No worries, tho, Rebecca. We will still have an official dubbing ceremony when you come over on the 14th. Sans fish eggs, of course. Bring your flower child and we will take pictures. (she says in an unabashed attempt to acquire content for her site!)
