My husband looks forward to a dignified dinner with civilized conversation and regards this time as important training in etiquette and deportment. My teenage sons take immense pleasure in trying to send me into uncontrollable fits of laughter, usually regarding something a tad inappropriate.
BW is one happy, well-adjusted lad!

Something I definitely need! I’m off to do that. And meanwhile, your quilt is off to you! It should get there Tuesday via UPS Ground. I can’t wait to see what you think of it! I hope you like it! ~A π

Oh, I’m excited to see the quilt. It’s lovely and I’m sure I will just adore it. Thank you, thank you. (I was worried it might arrive while I was gone!) ~W
I got a few hearty laughs in yesterday – the first I’ve had in a week or so – and they did wonders for my soul. Your Sunday sermons are better than any I’ve heard in church!

I’ve been thinking about you and holding healing thoughts for your dad. And, thank you for the compliment. I appreciate the sentiment, more than you might guess. π ~W
Obviously, BW hasn’t heard of Lutheran, Misery Synod. Laugh on. He’s a delight!

Heh, that reminds me of a joke. A good friend that my family has known since I was 5 was also our minister at that time. He would barge into the kid’s room every once in awhile and say, “What’s all this laughing?? Don’t you kids know we’re Christians??” Of course, that would just send us into fits. It was his favorite thing to do to us, I think. We always enjoyed. This same delightful man, actually traveled to be the officiant at my wedding all those years later. ~W
Love this! Seeing/hearing a kid laugh is the best way to start my day! Thanks, Wende & son, for the pick me up!
