Wow–I wouldn’t settle for that. I would insist on at least mexifries from Taco Time. (what I got from my husband the other night) I love tater tots, so I was very happy!

Yes! The trick in life is finding moments and making the most of them. I wish I could say I’m good at it… but progress, not perfection, right? Still – I love these “dates” and wouldn’t trade them.

Oh, you guys are making me miss that place of luxury dining! We don’t have them over here in the MID…I refuse to call it Midwest. It has nothing to do with the west. 🙂 I’ll be gettin’ me some dogs and coke this summer… maybe a few times! 🙂 Along with a Coke flavored slurpee from 7-11!!!!! 🙂

Oh my, I’d go into sugar shock drinking a slurpee. I’ve been homesick for every place I’ve ever left. It goes with the territory of actually having loved the place you lived. I think it’s for the best, though–to live into your world while you’re there. Consequently, lots of places feel like “home.” ~W
LOL! I’m like that too. Don’t get me wrong though…sometimes I like a nice dinner out, but, most of the time, when Steven and I do get a chance to go out somewhere alone, when he asks what I want to do I’ll say, “Can we just go somewhere where I can get a Dr Pepper?”! lol!

Oh, for us, going out for a real date means getting a sitter–and that become cost prohibitive. So, we’ve begun joking that our Costco runs for groceries is date night. It works, because it’s all in your perspective. 😀 ~W
Dogs & a Coke. Damned expensive. 😉 I just don’t see how we can keep this up. We are living so far beyond our means as it is…

Things really do go better with Coke, apparently.
Napoleon, er, Margaret, give me some of your tots!

Better share your tots, Margaret. ~W
Oh no…and that looks so refreshing!

I guess I am high maintenance, because I demand sushi and sake for my dates.

Blech, sushi. However, Boy Wonder would love you! He digs that stuff. We’re not letting him drink the sake yet, tho! 😀 ~W
Lots of sake.

So I’ve heard! ~WÂÂ
I suppose I could be considered high maintenance as well. I require Crown Royal and cash. 😉 Maybe I should rethink my strategy … nah.

You, high maintenance? NO! 😀 (does this mean you’re no longer on hiatus???) ~W
very sweet 🙂

It is, really. It’s a mundane task and we’ve managed to make it special. ~W
hahaha! This scene looks very familiar… tee hee… I’m not telling where! 😉

I know, sad but true! As much as we see you two there, it’s practically double dating! 😀 ~W
You’re my kind of girl! I hope you had fun. Haven’t had a date night in a long time. *sigh*

Heh, it’s really just grocery night. 😀 But we call it date night to make ourselves feel better. It’s hard with wee people… it gets easier!! ~W
Take it when/where/however you can get it, right?
