Day Ninety-two: It’s all downhill from here.
Observing:
I can’t believe it took me all summer (year, I’ve had this for ages!) to notice that I’m not paying for grammar. And clearly, neither is Kirkland.
What’s with all the cars downtown?ΓΒ And what’s with nearly getting killed every time I drive downtown?
I miss Santa Barbara most this time of year.
It’s kinda pathetic, but I’m pretty excited that fall TV is back.
I’m probably too old to be watching Gossip Girl?
I’m definitely too old to be wearing jeggings.
I like starting sentences with a conjunction. It makes me feel connected to something before. And I like ending sentences with a preposition. I do it on purpose. Because I can.
What is dish liquid? π You are such a grammar rebel!!

Perhaps they felt that “gentler” was too large of a word. Seriously–I wonder if they thought that people would have comprehension problems. I run into these issues writing web content. Everything is getting dumbed down.

I’m guessing you’re right on that front. And “more gentle” doesn’t sound as bad as it could. But I don’t know why they felt the need modify it in the first place. :S ~W
I have no argument with you. And conjunctions are awesome.

That’s good, Emily. Because I’m in no mood to lecture. π xoxo Kitty
Marketing people will tell you that grammar rules are there to be broken. π

I’ve been finding them in academic essays as well. I’ve read about a certain set of “believes” that people have when they “grove” up… Sigh.
