Day Eighty-eight: One week of summer left and I’m not laying odds on my future salad being ready before Autumn arrives.

    We have only gotten a few tomatoes, but lots of beans and potatoes. A weird summer crop.

    Yeah, the only thing thriving is Rosemary One. Rosemary Two kicked the bucket. I have no clue why. ~W

    I was reading that today’s historical high was 84 degrees. Doesn’t that sound yummy about right now? Pasadena is sitting at about 81 degrees right now… *sigh*…

    They serve salads called “baby greens” all the time and you pay extra for the “baby” in the supermarket. Just bulk it up a little by making the lettuce a secondary ingredient as opposed to the main one.

    Catalogue-worthy shot, by the way.

    It’s butter lettuce, so I have no idea how it will taste as baby greens. Although, I’m going to find out! And thanks!! ~W
