I’m such a lucky girl!!


Sunshine arrived on my porch today in the form of a box crammed full of these amazing jewels. Because isn’t  that what citrus is, bright, shiny orbs of amazing?  Much love to the fabulous Ms. Suzy Lorenzen for sending a piece of California to me for my birthday. How did you know? It’s just what I needed!

And to the rest of you, who have left such funny and endearing comments wishing me well as I enter this new decade: Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, I adore you all. I’m very fortunate to have such amazing friends and readers.

    What a gorgeous color!! (and combo) I’ve fallen in love with tangelos although the little sticker says they are something else that I’ve never heard of. They’re that bright orange color with a knob on the top. Yummy!!

    I wasn’t betting against you, exactly. It was more along the lines of encouragement through reverse psychology. You can’t prove otherwise 🙂

    How lovely! I almost bought a big bag of minneolas the other day at the market…but escaped with an avocado instead (phew…close one!) Now that I’ve eaten the avocado, I am looking at your picture thinking how lovely it would be to have a bit of sunshine (although, your email helped)

    I can’t get over how fragrant these are -perfect for Borgias! What a wonderful bit of sunshine indeed! (And, I might add, *FANTASTIC* picture!)
