The postman brought new shoes today. Silver Mary-Janes for me. Grey Sketchers for him. Both in the same size. He is only 11 and I’m not.

And now with MORE room his feet can expand even farther… building a foundation for his height. I’m guessing at least 6’3″ and possibly 6’4″…

It’s scary crazy how he’s growing. I wouldn’t have believed the feet thing if I hadn’t put our feet together to look. He really does have BIG feet. ~W
Puck, at 7, is wearing a 2.5/3; I wear a 7.5. I’m thinking she catches me by 11 too.

Yeah, I’d say before! G is 11 and wearing a men’s7/women’s9. HOLY COW. My feet are small for my height (i’m an 8.5-9) so he’s definitely got some height coming his way. ~W
Wow! I’m so not ready for that but Ruthie is nearly 10 so I know it’s coming. Those silver shoes are ADORABLE! 🙂

I only have a boy, so I don’t know if it holds with girls… but, man, Liza Lee! The change that happens between 10 and 11 is mind-boggling. I find myself catching my breath daily. It’s heart-wrenching. They get so grown-up! ~W
Join the club, darling. Both my little girls who used to sit in my lap are my size, and Alison outweighs me! She also has bigger feet. J. is tall as are you, thus you will be soon or eventually looking up at G. With love.

It might inevitable, but I don’t have to like it! Oh my!! ~W
Sunrise… sunset… makes me misty eyed…

I’m glad you can be so calm about it. I swear, IZ, I’m SO NOT READY FOR THIS. ~W
Ok, this is just a test…

I hope we get this figured out soon—spam is killing me. I’m nearing 100K and it’s mind boggling to keep up. ~W
Toe cleavage!!!

I love me some toe cleavage! 😀 ~W
I would like for MY postman to bring ME shoes… how’d you work that out? Slip some banana bread in the mailbox or what?

Yeah, well, my postman is just doing my MasterCard’s dirty work. ~W
Love the new shoes!!

Thank you!! ME TOO!~W
You and your cute little feeties in cute little shoes! I’m lucky cuz my girls are now in the same size as I am, so we can actually share shoes. Not that we DO, but there have been a couple of times when I slipped on their sneakers or they have worn my heels. I know if I had your little silver MJs, my Sara would take them over.

Oh, thanks. Not exactly little, though! ~W
re: your reply to HG…
G wears women’s shoes?? is there something you’re not telling us Wende?? ;P

Ah the temptation of an adjective. That’s the size he wears, not the kind. ~W
I would like to have a pair of those sweet, silver shoes please.

They are wonderful: J.crew! 😀 ~W
