He looks so intent! And what a beautiful machine. He’ll enjoy it very much, it appears.

He’s figuring out that there is a LOT of reading when sewing. Heh. ~W
I’m excited for and jealous of BW for getting an embroidery machine. I’ve been wanting one for a while and I thoroughly enjoyed IZ’s comprehensive evaluation of the machines out there. That will play an important part in my decision making – thanks! I hope I can be included in your move if it is indeed a blog move. I’ve enjoyed reading your “column”.

Oh, no blog move. Before I’d ever give up my URL, I’ll password protect everything via subscriberships. Heh. But that’s not happening any time soon. 😀 ~W
How happy is BW?!?!?! I am beaming because I’m so excited to see what wonderful things he creates with this new wonderful piece of machinery…and, I’m only a little jealous, but not much, because I just know he’s going to share with us all his briliantness…ah muse thy name is really bitchen new sewing/embroidering machine. sigh.

He’s OVER THE MOON. Reading the user manual may be the only school he does this week. OY. ~W
That’s what I did these last couple days when I have been nursing a cold- I got acquainted with my machine! I love these photos of BW and in return, I’m sending you one that you can share with BW.

Oh, so cute, so cute. I will show him asap. Of course, that will only raise the issue: “What is felting and will you order some supplies so I can do it?” The child has yet to meet a craft form he isn’t enthused about—he’d be knitting now if I knew how to teach him! ~W
Very cool. I love my Brother printers (for what *that’s* worth!) I wish BW many, many happy years playing with his sewing machine! Rock on!

I’ll tell him! 😀 ~W
that boy of yours puts me to SHAME. i’m sure he’s been on it tons since he got it. whereas i got my first sewing machine for christmas last year, and i’ve used it, oh, 5 times in a YEAR? goodness. and not very successfully, i might add. haha.

We call him our “puppy with a bone” for a reason! ~W
My O My he is a goner for sure!!! I love it and wait with bated breath his first creations. I can just hear his mind ticking “School books, but Mom this is work, we can call it school and I AM learning and we know that school is supposed to be a place of learning, right? Well?”.
The young Genius will create in his sleep if he sleeps!
I am over the moon with him.

Thank you, Vanessa! ~W
I’m really excited about his creations, too… he is such a cool kid. And I know this is kinda (ok, very) off topic, but his hair looks great!

No, his hair is FINALLY starting to look like him. It’s still shorter than he would like in the back, but he’s not looking so shorn these days. It was great talking to you last night. I need to blog about this soon… I’ve just been so dang low energy! ~W
