No Lutheran holiday today, but we shall live on the wild side and attend a potluck anyway. My teenage boys call potlucks our high feasts. Mockers! Is nothing sacred? We’re boating into the Puget Sound after church…
Oh, I get it. You’re getting profound on me again. I’ll ponder the question whilst thinking of your amazing and calming sunset. Is this view near your home? If so, there is more than one lucky dog in your midst!

This is the view from the riverwalk facing west. It’s absolutely stunning, especially on such a lovely fall day. We are thankful to be having a “fall” this weekend, as lots of rain is headed our way next week. ~W
I do know where I am going. When this life for me is over, I will be joining my Father in heaven. I have accepted God’s free gift of Salvation through Jesus; my sins are forgiven and He is preparing a place for me in heaven. John 3:16
I’m rushing around going lots of places, but really no where very profound. I’m just making the small voyages of life.

I’m going on an adventure. For me, it is a long bridge I’m traversing between the present now and the future I’m trying to create – I know that destination is waiting for me if all I do is walk the length of the bridge. But I also am striving to take joy in the beauty of the here and now. I know no better starting place than where I am for what I’m undertaking. And I know no better partner than you to have along for the journey. Hopefully when it is all done, we’ll have given G an opportunity for the future he wants to create for himself as well…

Ooh. This one stopped me in my tracks.

I wanna go THERE! It’s hard to be away from my heart that’s in Cannon Beach for so long. I’m sure it’s having fun, tho. 🙂
