It’s been a HARD weekend. Lots of set backs and minor annoyances and allergy attacks—Ack! However, I have to say, that in the busyness and the chaos of last week a few things have kept me going. Yes, lattes being one of them.
As you may or may not have gleaned from last Monday’s post, I have an ad running on Modish this month for Thrifty Goodness—the build up to that has kept me running at a pace I don’t enjoy. The grind has left me feeling a wee bit uncentered about the idea and well, a wee bit self-pitying. Ok, a lot of self pity.
Yet, in a chaotic week that ended with my new furniture being too large to get through the door of my “space” (and had Wende in tears wondering why she doesn’t have a day job like everybody else) I have been surprised by the kindness of both strangers and friends. A few of you have made this week bearable by your support of my venture. It warms a girl’s heart to discover that her friends are promoting the daffodils out of her venture—especially when she’s not feeling so groovy about it! I just want to say thank you for the support.
So, Susan, Wendee, Mary Beth, and Cap… thank you! This Latte Love is for you.
Oh, Wende, I wish I could sit on that blue porch of yours and have that latte with you! Someday soon…
I totally feel the pain of a crunch due to on-line sales attempts. Your shop is looking fabulous, though, and all of your effort is worth it. Anyway, it’s more fun to enjoy a good cup of latte after a week of hard work, right? Right? Okay, a lazy cup in the morning after a good night’s sleep isn’t all that bad either.
I’m so sorry to hear about the furniture not fitting. What did you do with it? Has it all been straightened out? Barry once took a sledgehammer to a couch to get it to fit into an apartment door. It was essentially firewood once we got it inside, but it fit! I hope your furniture story has a happier ending.
Take care, and enjoy a nice walk in your cute new shoes.

The piece went to a carpenter who is working on taking a few inches off the depth so it will fit. We once had to saw our bed frame in two to fit it up a flight of stairs. Needless to say, that lasted about a year before we purchased a new bed that could fit and didn’t kill our backs! And, I can’t wait to have a coffee with you on my tangy porch. Happy Moving!!~W
Sniff! Sip! Scrumptious! Sigh!
Store, space, and sweet supporters are splendid!
Superb site, Sweetie!! Simply swell!

Hey, for what it’s worth, I’ll be happy to put your ad on my site that actually gets traffic. If you don’t mind the cussin’. 😉

Well, if you do, let me know—I’ll include you in the next supporter round-up post. 😀 ~W
I can’t even begin to tell you how this site has cheered me up, spurred me on and has given me a place to relax, be still and surround myself with a little beauty and a lot of peace of mind. You’ve also given me a wonderfully tangy porch on which to do all those things. And that’s pretty cool 😀

Oh, Cap! That’s nice to hear. I’m really glad to know that! Thank you. ~W
Lots of good friends with comfort and support. I thought the update at TG looked great and loved all the new things! And even if your furniture didn’t fit I always feel a gentle fit when I come here. So, thank you.
What a beautiful face! She looks full of love and care. Perhaps it was the just right time for you to glimpse her.

Thanks, Vicki. I’m afraid you might be looking at the preview for my next yard sale. Heh. 😀 ~W
I support you in all ways, except that I am trying to downsize these days. To that end, I have resisted buying anything lately, and have started THINKING about going through some rooms, bookshelves, cabinets, etc…Notice that I said THINKING.

Sounds like a garage sale is in your future. Or, at least a trip to the goodwill. And, I hear you about downsizing. Oof! ~W
